Cool stuff that has popped up that you have probably seen
DISASTERADIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This makes me wish I was back in Wellington actually participating in life there for a change.
Also - this is The Conjurors.
Yeeeeaaaaaaaah! PEOW PEOW OWN that shit.
That's all I can think of in the two seconds that I have written this post in. Although you should spend more time than that with these two pieces of music. They are sexy. Take them on a date. Talk about how good they look and how interesting their conversation is.
Also there is this Cool Times Dying Gooseling album by Tommy Ill. What a super champ he is! SUPERCHAMP!

I also enjoy this now too.
ALSO - thoughts for the day.
1. Do I only ever write about like 5 bands?
2. What are we gonna do when all the band names are used up? Are we gonna have to do that thing we did with hotmail accounts and be like psychospice12@hotmail.com??

NO TENGO DINERO
Living in the city IS tough guys.
Like, real hard out.
That's why every now and again I really feel the need to put on some short shorts and dance around my room.
Luckily, there is a song out there that is more than ample to facilitate my needs.
FUCK YEAH SPRING BREAK YOU RULE MY WORLD.
Dear Simon Ward, Stop making life so awesome ok?
OK no don't.
Simon makes some of the best videos ever ever ever.
Here's a short selection of awesomeness that he has created. I'm gonna look to see if he has a website.
OH GOD HE DOES YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Anyway, here's a few that I know. Bye Bye afternoon, I'm heading on a trip through awesomeville.
I'm actually looking at the screen in digust. How can one have so much awesome within? SPEAKING OF AWESOME.
Oh and check this out - some behind the scenes photos of how they made awesome feelings.
Anyway - check out Simon's website for more cause there is heaps more awesome there, ok?
AND - links to the bands.

Creative Capital oi oi oi
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! ANYTHING IS PROBABLE!
A group called Concerned Citizens who, from what I can tell, are situated in Wellington are starting up 19 Tory St - a radically participatory "...space for open-source art, learning, music, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, talks, markets and more."
Fuck it sounds awesome. They have open Google docs (I love that shit) and are wanting everyone who can to get involved. DO IT!
CRACKA BONZA DUDES! Although I love Wellington to pieces, it always seemed like it was a place where you were paid like you were in a small town in NZ, and it charged the prices that Auckland people pay. How are you supposed to stimulate a vibrant cultured city if the rent is so high that you can't even begin to think that you could start an artist run space yourself! Or have a studio to work in! Or buy a coffee at a cafe to sit at, get ya moleskin out and think about ways of conquering the world! LOL.
Thanks to Letting Spaces this stupid rule has been broken, and it seems like the Creative Capital can finally start living up to its name oi.
I know it's unfair to make those assumptions and shit cause I know I could have put more energy into it and done something myself, but I almost felt defeated by it all. Now I'm spoilt for choice aren't I. Aren't I? Something I have realised while being over in London is that if you have an idea, ROLL HARD WITH IT. I don't know why it has taken me a trip half way across the world, but suck it up it did ok?
BLANK CANVAS!
If you are in Wellington you should check out the launch of 19 Tory St. Way to make me jealous of not being in NZ, dudes.
